DG Operator
Generator Operator means the Person that Operates the Generating Facility and performs the functions of supplying electric energy and interconnected operations services within the meaning of the NERC Reliability Standards.
Operating and maintaining: The DG and other auxiliary equipment used in power generation
Monitoring: Gauges, meters, and indicators to ensure the equipment and systems are functioning properly
- Troubleshooting: Reporting issues to a supervisor on a daily basis
- Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance and breakdown maintenance
- Diesel: Maintaining diesel requirements for the DG system and providing inventory to the supervisor
